Scholarship

LGBTQIA+ Pride Month

Hello, World! We're excited to announce our second scholarship of the year, in celebration of LGBTQIA+ Pride Month.

SuperHi's mission is to give creative and curious people the tools, techniques, and confidence to bring ideas and work to life online. We have courses that cover Code, Design, and Digital Project Management to support our community in their goals. We're here to help people advance in their skills and careers, work more confidently, or change their careers entirely, in the digital and creative industries. We believe that everyone should have a seat in the classroom; that education should be accessible to all, regardless of your background; that diversity is the key to creating great products; that everyone deserves to have all the tools, resources, and community needed to create, grow, build, and connect without boundaries.

At SuperHi we're proud to share that we have a diverse and international student base comprised of 59% women, 2% non-binary, and 39% men, represented in over 90 countries and multicultural backgrounds. They make amazing sites, design beautiful digital products, and run healthy and happy projects. You can see our students' work in our growing Hall of Fame here. They're a supportive bunch, too, always sharing knowledge and feedback to fellow students!

We have 50 places to give away on this scholarship. Good luck if you're applying!

Who can apply

Our LGBTQIA+ Pride Month scholarship is in support of individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. As with all of our scholarships, we want to give extra consideration to those who want to get into the tech and creative industry but haven't had the financial opportunity to do so. To ensure that we're approaching this the right way, the judging and selection panel will be comprised of students from our community who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.

This scholarship is open to international applicants, not just those based in the US!

What you'll need for our courses

  • They're all online, flexible, and go-at-your-own-pace so you'll need a computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) with the latest version of Chrome installed and a broadband internet connection.

  • Depending on the course, you may also need access to specific tools, but anything required for a course is free to use and we'll show you how to use them.

How to apply

You can apply for this scholarship by submitting an application through the form linked below. Winners will be selected by five independent judges.

LGBTQIA+ Pride Month is celebrated every June, in honor and remembrance of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan, a pivotal moment in LGBTQIA+ history. This month is now dedicated to commemorating the impact and contributions that the LGBTQIA+ Community has made in history worldwide.
