- [Rik] Welcome to chapter 10. And it's the final chapter in the course. And it's also our capstone project paint work. In this project, we'll take all of the techniques that we've learned and apply them to this artwork. Our artwork is comprised of thousands of pen strokes that blend together to make an abstract piece based on a source image. To make this up, we'll start by making a particle system that represents the drawing area. We'll then apply some organic movement to each pen stroke by adding in some force and some turbulence.

We'll then sample our source image to give each pen a color and then we'll draw a trail to each pen so we can see where the line has drawn. This artwork is incredibly flexible. We can play around with the pen lines, the pen strokes, the pen shape, even the colors to get completely different outcomes each time. So let's start our final project.
