- So one thing you might
notice is this portrait and this noise are actually
different size resolutions. You'll see here this is
a rectangle kind of image and this one is a square. So how do we go about
matching these things up? Now, unfortunately, this is something that's a bit more manual
and it's partly because we might wanna have a lot
of control over this image, and we might wanna have a
lot of control of that image, so there isn't exactly one
way to kind of sync them up. There is one way we'll talk about a little bit later in
the course, but for now, we just have to match these up ourselves.
00:31
So this one I think is a 3X4
image and this one is a 1X1. Let's make this noise have
a different resolution. How do we do this? So we're gonna go back to our parameters. We've got noise, we've got transform, we've got an output in here as well. And the last one is a common tab, which is something that
we use fairly commonly, but what we're gonna do is change this resolution a little bit. So I think this one is roundabout, I think it's like 900X1200, so I'm actually gonna make
this noise about the same.
01:02
Now, what you might
notice before we do this is this kind of square
image gets stretched. So this noise looks a
little bit elongated. That's because they're
just different resolutions. So by making these kind of match, it looks a little bit more even. So here in my resolution, at
the moment, it uses default, which is this 256X256. We're just gonna change this to something a bit more sensible,
something like 900X1200, just to kind of match the same size.
01:31
And what we get here is
this is now a bigger noise that isn't stretched, but this might actually change
how your kind of image looks, this kind of end output. So we might wanna go back
to the first noise tab and then just start to tweak
things a little bit as well. So maybe I wanna make this
a little bit more zoomed in. Maybe these harmonics
feel a bit not great. Maybe I wanna change some of this. Maybe I can change some
of these numbers as well. And again, I can just
play around with this to my heart's content as well.
02:02
So it's a good idea to make
sure your resolutions match, and to do this, they're
always under the common tab.
